Collaboration with Xuechang LiThe story of a small village at the mouth of the Jiulong River and dragon boats is told in an ethnographic way.
After investigating the process of dragon boat building an d ceremony, the work does not stop at the folklore itself, but from the perspective of architecture, excavates the space related to dragon boat culture.
2021 - The reborn of Dashengli
Undergraduate thesis designDashengli is the only funeral home in the Xiamen Island. After the funeral home was abandoned for urban planning reasons, the Dashengli Veranda became aHistoric Preservation building. This work is a renovation of the old building in Dashengli.
The epidemic era brings us to the unknown and sudden disaster and the rising and numbing figures of the epidemic, which makes me focus on the historical attributes of Dashengli. In this work, I use narrative architectural design to explore the use of architectural space to shape an existential excursion process, in order to continue the ethos of the site that makes people feel the preciousness of life and value it.

Aiming at the censorship of entertainment and restriction in art expression, we are going to hold a portable exhibition that can bring foreign music into this city without against the law and morality.

Island Life Festival

Rural revitalization is a perspective for architects to intervene in the countryside. By researching the main problems of the village, targeted solutions are proposed. The project site is located in the Chi Ma Wan of Lantau Island, a very beautiful natural landscape area with several small villages. With the development of the times, the village is facing multiple difficulties in aging and transportation and economy.
2022 -Artscape Hong Kong

A defining trait of Hong Kong's landscape is the close relationship between the urban metropolis and the nature surrounding it. For this reason, it takes very little travel time to pass from the city centre to the primarily untouched countryside woodlands. We chose the New Territories as a potential art space for its more scattered communities, cultural heritage and still-thriving villages with century-old traditions.

The concept of the building is derived from the shape of the prototype, the gradually shrinking roof can finally become a skylight, the whole structure has a sense of wrapping.

In the design of Quanzhou's development zone, the change of transportation is used to reshape the city's form. As transportation becomes increasingly miniaturized and shared, the form of the buildings and the authority of the occupants are liberated even more.
